The anticipation of giving: Rare video of Frank Oz eulogizing Jim Henson

Watching this, I've never laughed and cried so hard in my life. This video is not yet on Youtube (That I can find). So I'm uploading it in hopes that sharing this, more people can see just how special Jim and Frank's relationship was. The New York memorial was held at the Cathedral of St.

Sweet, moving and funny. A celebration of the life and ( full of specificity) work of Jim Henson.

The LXD creates an universe were comic book-like mythologies are expressed exclusively through dance in a manner that transcends categorization. It is lavishly produced with utmost respect for the artform. It is shocking to learn that an episode is shot in one day.

Below are the trailers for all the seasons so far, directed by John M. Chu and filmed by Alice Brooks. Season 3 is currently playing on Hulu.

The Legion Of Extraordinary Dancers, AKA The LXD is an upcoming web series that takes dance and storytelling to another level.

Three brilliant short films.
A philosophy for a good life.

These films have been making the internet rounds since they became available on Vimeo 2 days ago and for good reason, because they are inspired. The most surprising thing about these is that they were commissioned by STA Australia, a cheap student travel agency. This is part of a trend were brands are allowing artists, artisans and technicians to create interesting works rather than producing traditional advertising. And thank goodness for that. Next time you are pondering your life, take a look at these. They are a perfect way to go into the weekend and the rest of your life.

Rick Mereki : Director, producer, additional camera and editing
Tim White : DOP, producer, primary editing, sound
Andrew Lees : Actor, mover, groover
